Astral Projection and Dreams

Occasionally, I have strange dreams, so real that I wake up, exhausted. This began to happen a few years ago when I started to learn about astral projection. That is where a person can learn to leave their body and go to other places. I had also read that it can be dangerous because evil spirits could intervene and prevent the person from returning to their body which would then die. I don't think that is true, though.

There are many books on the subject and I know that with some Eastern religions it is a regular practice. A person may go to another place, and when they return to their body, they relate what they saw, and it can be verified.

So I asked God to allow me to project from my body. That's when I began to go places in dreams, and return, exhausted. That doesn't happen with all of my dreams.

Until three years ago I was involved with a spiritual ministry that God drew me into. I had no idea what I would be doing at the time, but it continued for nineteen years. I was so blessed to be able to speak with spirits. God would send them to me with information about people we were helping. My chats with the spirits led me to ask questions that I had long wanted to know. At this point, I'm going to say that the spirits are not all evil as most Christians claim. There is a huge amount of nonsense written about them. They are actually as diverse as the human race, ranging from good to evil, and some actually do help humans in trouble.

One night, while chatting with a spirit friend, I brought up the subject of astral projection and asked him if that is something like the way he travels. I know that spirits don't float or whizz around, but he could not explain how they move. This spirit said, "We often see humans who have left their bodies and are going places but they don't realize they are out of their bodies; they think they are dreaming. We also see the spirits rising from people who have died in car crashes or other ways, but we don't know where they go."

So this is why I believe I do sometimes leave my body during the night. When the morning arrives I feel exhausted as though I've had no sleep. Last night was such a night. I was in a small fenced-in yard about ten feet by fifteen feet. The fence was weathered wood about seven feet tall. There was a weather-worn picnic table to one side and a bench. About five feet the other way was another table. Two men were sitting at the first table and said we are waiting for others to arrive. There was something about those men that made me reluctant to ask what it was about. Then in walked another man with a large portable radio and set it down on the ground under the other table. Then he pulled out a large semi-automatic pistol, showed it to me and said, "It's just in case..." He then put it on the ground behind the radio. I assumed it was for me in case I needed it. Again, I didn't like to ask and I didn't like the atmosphere. A few minutes later, in came several men who looked like gangsters, dressed like Mafia.
The men set up another small table and began to speak. One of them pulled out a hypodermic needle and poked it in my skin just under my neck. He said it won't hurt me but will show them whether I'm the kind of guy who would rat them out. He looked where it had jabbed me and said, "He's okay, he's one of us. We'll be in touch." They then left. I still didn't know what they were all about but it sure didn't seem good. One of the two men who had already been at my table said, "We just have to wait until we hear from them." At this point I awoke and was quite unhappy at being considered a Mafia type.

As I said, sometimes I have strange dreams.
